Thomas EskebaekStarting by creating web pages and databases on my mother’s computer in 1995, I launched my first IT consulting business in 1996, which supported me through high school and university.

Being very excited about technology, Computer Science at the Technical University of Denmark was the obvious choice. Exchanges at University of Wisconsin-Madison in the US and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology gave additional inspiration to my master’s thesis in “computational knowledge extraction” in 2004.

Seeing an exciting commercial potential for the research of my thesis, I launched ScioSphere (initially called Sapio Systems) straight out of university - and created a team, designed the product, raised venture capital and got the initial customers in the life sciences industry.

Currently, I am working with business development of Danish high tech companies through a highly structured go-to-market strategy development process, focused on matching product value with market.

Always involved in multiple projects and interesting ideas, I really enjoy the challenge of defining and executing strategies for positioning companies in the market.

Geographically, I am travelling back and forth between Copenhagen and London.

For more details you can see my LinkedIn Profile, which also has a more complete overview of the various companies and projects I have been involved in.
